Planmed to present revolutionary innovations at ECR 2023

The annual meeting of the European Society of Radiology, ECR 2023, is less than two weeks away. After three years, the congress will return to Vienna on March 1−5, 2023 for an onsite event featuring different activities that showcase the very best science from the world of medical imaging.

The theme of this year’s ECR, ‘The Cycle of Life’, is intended to reflect the centrality of radiology to healthcare throughout life. Radiology offers clear images identifying simple and complex injuries and illnesses, diagnostic clues when the cause of illness is unknown, and insights into the progress of treatment when we are sick. At ECR 2023, medical imaging will be used to examine all aspects of the human life cycle, from pre-birth to the afterlife.

At the congress, Planmed will be introducing Planmed XFI®, the world’s first full-body weight-bearing CT. Planmed XFI will take CBCT imaging to the next level as the system can do it all – from head to toe, both lying down and under natural load.

Upright, weight-bearing imaging shows anatomy in natural alignment, which is crucial for accurate surgical planning. Both prone and upright scans are possible, allowing advanced imaging protocols for optimal treatment results.
